What should you eat and drink if you have the flu?
lots of fruits and veggies thats for sure!
Saltine crackers, dry toast, water, ginger ale (helps settle the stomach), powerade (for the electrolytes).
tea with lemon. u need a lot of C vitamin.
orange juice and water :)
Chicken soup :D
if you love drinking cold water, get rid of it for awhile.
When I’m sick, Fresh fruit, veges and cool water always helps me! Warm foods are what most people turn to when sick (soups, teas…) but personally they just make me feel more congested and sick.
Ginger Ale - but stir it will a spoon to get all the bubbles out, so it won’t upset your stomach more. You could also add more ginger to the ginger ale ;) def saltine crackers are the best. I wouldn’t eat anything with acid in it such as fruits that will just make your stomach feel worse and even make you feel like you wanna throw up. Soup is good just again not tomato soup cause the acid. So chicken noodle would be good, nothing creamy. tea is good for you.
Drink lots of water. Toast. Gram crackers. Fruit. Veggies. Tea. Lemonade.
These are three ordinary choices that are pretty good.
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Tomato Soup with Toast
- Buttered Toast
Stomach flu: Stay away from dairy, rich, caffeinated or fatty foods. Stick with dry toast or crackers and make sure you keep your fluid intake up. You don’t want to dehydrate. For normal flu: Make sure you get lots of rest and drink lots of fluids. Soups and fruit juices are great! Foods and drinks with vitamin C in them can help your body strengthen its immune system to fight the virus.
Soup, Lem-sick any juice or hot liquid like tea which would help a sore throat, you have to keep your fluids up
