Does drinking water so you will eat less actually work?

I was told that you will feel full if you eat a bunch of water right before you eat a meal. Does that even work? Even if it does will you stay full even though the most you had was a bunch of water?

itll make you feel full. but it wont keep you full all day cuz you will pee it out

Water wont significantly make you eat less, if you are trying to substitute a liquid for a solid, drink a smoothie instead of a hamburger.

Drinking water does help regulate your diet because it helps remove toxins from the body, and yes fills you up for a temporary amount of time. When I drink as much water as I’m supposed to, I eat a more healthy amount.

It does, well for me anyways, I drink an 8oz glass of water a half hr b4 eating
