I don’t own one either, but you can help prevent health problems by taking excellent care of it. Feed it healthy foods, walk it regularly, make sure it gets it shots, take it to the vet for check ups, bathe it, brush it, love it. There’s no absolute way of preventing health problems but there are many things you can do to help :)
