Doctors and Confidentiality.
Is everything you tell a doctor or a gynecologist supposed to stay confidential.. Like if you tell them you’ve had sex or if they discover your pregnant…Can they go back and tell your parents?
they cant say anything as its part of the confidentiality act, however they have to inform your parents if your under 14 as its illegal and for child protection reasons.
From my understanding it is unless you tell them you want them to tell your parents, it could be different in every state though.
