Answer #1

ephysians 4:4 to 5 says, we are one body and one lord rules over us.so in christianity there is no racism, please choose to do good than evil.love one another says the master jesus.I hope iam black but every one want to be my friend over here, because we all belong to one LORD JESUS.

Answer #2

The Bible teaches to love everyone…meaning every person! The fact that there is still racism is because humans are…human! We have faults and yes, some Christians are racist. That is wrong…since we are called to love.

Answer #3

Sad to say yes some do! I dated a black man and my dad beat me over it and my family and church dis owned me :( I ended up with a white guy and my dad still holds it ove my head :(

Answer #4

“Christians” is pretty general…not to mention, many self-deluded people see themselves as such, but in reality, don’t come even close…

As “amblessed” says…TRUE Christians do not descriminate…it’s up to you to decide who is and who isn’t…(tho a racist remark, off the lips of a “proclaimed” Christian would definately be a clue.

Some Christians believe that black people carry the mark of Cain. In Genesis after Cain killed Abel God cursed Abel with not being able to grow crops. Cain was afraid that he would be killed so God put a mark on Cain and warned that anyone who killed Cain would suffer God’s vengence seven times over.

The Bible never described what Cain’s mark was but certain Christians were convinced that it was black skin. This idea was used to justifiy slavery, racism, and laws against interracial marriage.

Today few Christians believe black people carry the mark of Cain. As far as I’m concerned racism has no Biblical foundation though some people may try to use the Bible to justify their own bigotry.

Answer #6

I think not. In the eyes of the lord, all men are equal, no matter what colour, race or creed. Racism is only borne out from history, when the white men thought they were more superior over blacks, (slavery, education, etc). It is only these bigots and ignorants today, who choose to be a racialism. In my church, there is a mixed congregation of blacks, asians, and whites, who all mix together. There’s no segregation. Unfotunately, racism is a disease. One day it will be cured…Remember the good book, he who judges, will be judged…

Answer #7

I agree that there is no difference between humans in God’s eyes, so there must be none in a Christian’s eyes either. I also agree that racism is dead or dying in the Christian church now. But I find it salutory to remember that, within living memory, people in South Africa or the Southern US went to segregated churches which they believed were according to God’s will. What other things can we Christians fool ourselves on? Just because we’ve ‘seen the light’ on this one, doesn’t mean there aren’t other things where we are still living against God’s will.

Answer #8

I hope there isnt racism in christianity…but the way the world is today…there probably is…

Answer #9

My opinion, a TRUE Christian, will not discriminate.

Answer #10

I say there should not be any racism especially within a christian heart because the duty of a christian is to bring in souls to the body of christ.the color of your skin has nothing to do with your soul.so you as a christen should not judge anyone on the colour of there skin.Or you can say this how would you feel if someone judged you by the colour of your skin and prohibited you. I’m black and blessed to see not the color of someones skin but the heart within them…but shouldn’t we all be like that..
