What is the difference between chino pants and skinny jeans?

Skinny jeans are denim jeans that are skin tight to your legs including thighs and buttocks. They can be any colour / pattern but are usually classic blue denim or black. Chinos are usually a light tan colour although have been released in a range of other colours in many clothing stores worldwide, only the other colours aren’t as popular as the stylish tan. Chinos are not skin tight on the thighs and buttocks, they are slightly looser, but are quite tight on the calves and end in a straight cut or skinnier leg. They are made out of different material too and usually have buttons or back pocket detail.
