Depo Shot- Pregnant?

Well, before me and my boyfriend (now ex) broke up 5 days ago, we had sex about a month or two ago. I have been feeling tired, weak, and the feeling of needing to puke. A couple minutes ago, I almost puked. We had unprotected sex but I am on the depo shot. I got the one that protects you for 3 months and I just got one about a month ago before we had sex. It is 99% protective. But I am scared I am that 1% to get pregnant. I don’t really mind as long as the father is there for the baby. But please help.

YOU SHOULD TAKE A TEST. THEN NO MATTER WHAT THE TEST SAYS GO SEE A DOCTOR. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 THEN YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR PARENTS. SOMETIMES PILLS DON’T ALWAYS WORK. -DARNESHIA J.

depo shot isnt all that great any way. my sister was on it too and still got pregnant. your body can still drop an egg. you should get the pill hun. if you are prego and dont want it, think about adoption. taking care of a baby is hard stuff. and trust me I know how you feel because I’ve been feeling the same way!!

oh, have you gotten your period? im still waiting for my next one.

Yeah. I have been pregnant before but wasn’t using ANYTHING. I lost it though when it was just 8 weeks. And about the depo shot and my period. I usually get it on the 3rd month on the depo shot. So I either need a test or wait and see. My stomach feels uneasy and has butterflies in it and I mean A LOT of butterflies. I haven’t been peeing a lot though and haven’t been eating a lot. I actually haven’t been eating as much as I used to. Now, I just eat pretty much the amount of a sandwich and half of another sandwich a day. And that’s not a lot.. So I am really worried. Whenever I try eating, I always want to throw it back up but I force to swallow the food.

My sister-in-law’s appetite or urination didn’t increase when she was pregnant and she was also really ill with it. Your symptoms certaining are like pregancy symptoms but they could also just be caused by anxiety of being pregnant. You need to take a pregnancy test! You can take a home test to give you a 90% accurate result if it’s negitive and positive results are almost definately correct. Or you could go to the doctors and have a blood test done to give a more accurate result but they will probably want you to have taken a home test before going as it has been over 2weeks since you had sex. Also you need to talk to your ex…you could do this before taking a test just to warn him there may be a chance so he’s less likely to freak out or you could do it when you are sure you’re pregnant…it’s up to you! Hope this helps and good luck =) x
