How to deal with grief?

In the last 2 years, I have lost one whole half of my family (my father and grandparents) they were such a huuuuge part of my life…and I miss them all so much, especially my father who passed from a massive heart attack at 53 9 months ago. I try to get threw the days, but its hard..I think about them all the time, every little thing I see reminds me of them..I miss the way they smell, talk, laugh and even how we would disagree..I want to sell the house we grew up in and the car I inherited and just move far away to have a fresh start, hoping maybe this will help..I grew up in the city, and am going to a small town..Iv gained a bad case of anxiety disorder as well, my dr tried to put me on pills, but I dont want them..is this ever going to stop hurting so much? my chest feels full of emptyness and its heavy when I think of them..does anyone have any ideas to help ease the greif a bit..? thanks

What you feel and want for yourself is normal. Sadly though, no matter how comforting people act, there really is no way to get over that kind of lose…. You will probably think I’m an ass for sayi9ng this, but death, is a peaceful, beautiful thing. Though you feel they are gone, it is only there bodies that are gone. But what you saw in them, and what memories you have with them, is what you keep. You may not find it now, because you are blinded by depression, but you must always remember, that thier spirit is in you, and you have to embrace that…Lead your life as intended, never look back, but always have time for crying….Everything you feel is normal, and understandable. I am truely sorry for your loss, I know I would be as upset as you in that position. Just hang in there, try to be happy, look at the small things in life and love every detail in them…but most inportantly, live.

Drew pretty much answered everything, but I also think you should indulge yourself. Indulge yourself in good food, clothes, traveling… Your father and and Grandparents wouldn’t want you miserable…
