Is cutting onions too much going to harm my eyes?

no it is not too much to harm the eyes instead it cleans the eyes from dirts.

Actually it can harm your eyes. Anything that burns your eyes isn’t very good for it. Cut the onions under water i.e. in a sink or bowl. That works quite well.

well, i used to be an apprencice cook and id be stuck preping onions majority of the day, and my eye are perfectly fine.

What i do is keep a wet towel near by and a small bucket of water so rinse my hands and it seems to do the trick.

Also if ur preping onions in a cafe or restuarnt etc u never allowed to run them under water .

BUt if you aren’t a professional cook putting it in water is fine.

nope u cry bcause of the sulphur present in the onions try soking them in water quickly after u cut it :)

when you cut onions your eyes burn because of carbon dioxide i dont see any harm and like amingo said it will cleanse your eyes because your tearing and getting dirt out
