Creation vs Evolution?

I follow the lines of evolution. to me it is not so much a problem with the history inside the bible, but a problem with what isn’t in there. for centuries mankind in asia believed the world was flat, if a GOD created man- then wouldn’t you think that he would have let someone in on that fact. a couple more. if we were all created in ‘GODS’ image- which form of man would that have been? cro mag? neandrethal? h0m0 erectus? which would be the correct image of god? last one if we were all created by a “god” why was christianity only in a small area of the world? if the native americans, and central american indians were created by this same ‘GOD” wouldn’t you have thought they would have been worshipping and following the same belief as the christians in the holy land? wouldn’t they have recieved a copy of the ten commandments as well? if you look at history you find this is not the case. paganism ( which is a very broad- generalized term) was flourishing ALL OVER THE WORLD- non’ christian ideas as the religion of the land. nature worship- ancestor worship, etc.

I believe in both… How do you know that a day to go isn’t like 1000000 years to us? He could have created the animals and then slowly made them more complicated until he created the humans and the same thing with everything else.

FOr your question sikashimmer, I don’t really know, but they all said that Dinosours came before Nabi Adam( and Eves!?). Nabi Adam lived more than 1000 years. Everything about the questions, no ideas, lol !

Science is a religion. They have faith and belief that in time evidence will turn up to back up their faith in it. Unfortunately, the more science uncovers, the more it points to life being created not evolving. There is always that factor; crucial to their claims that science cannot explain to validate their stance. This factor always contradicts the laws and rules that science has established as essential for ‘good science’ and valid proof of anything. It is an unexplainable creative force that works outside the laws of physics. Creationists call it God or the Creator. Evolutionists call it Somehow or Time.

Haileybre: I beg to differ. I have done a lot of research in both fields and from a purely scientific standing it definitely shows more that creation is fact. No matter what part of the debate you want to look at, evolution falls way way short. In fact if you look at Punctuated Equilibrium which is the new theory or concept, after Evolution was disproven by the Cambrian Explosion, it is in fact Creation. It was just given a different name.

here’s the deal… there is a huge different between faith and fact… people who believe in creation have a great deal of faith in God.. that’s pretty much all that I rely on… my faith.

I believe in evolution because it’s a scientific fact. We understand a great deal about how populations have changed over time both on the physical and genetic level to adapt to their environments. We use that science now to make medicines and vaccines that have proven success.

Evolution does NOT tell us exactly how life began - just how it has changed over time to become what it is today. That’s where most people go wrong in their thinking.

umm CREATION DUH. ok, so the first reply.. there were “dinosaurs before adam and eve” who made those dinosaurs? we all came from something? ok? so where did that something come from? who made that something? … GOD DID. why? nobody knows. but whether you have strong or weak faith. you know. not only because it is logical. but because it is hardcore evidence. remember… SCIENCE IS JUST A THEORY, and mostly opinion. dont let all of it fool you. :]

i’m not realy sure what you would call what i beileve in but i think that evelution is real, but god made it happen. he created the earth and through his creation he made evelution. i don’t think that is impossible. god usses his creation in the bible to do things all the time. besides, don’t you think that there has to be a creator for all the things in this world. what about time, do you think that all this could just be there? something had to create time and space, don’t you think?

In Job 40:15, the God mentions the Behemoth and said “which I made with thee.” The description that follows describes a land dinosaur of some type. In Job 41:1 “God refers to the Leviathan, which describes a water dinosaur.”

Job 40:15 “Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.”

Job 41:1 “Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?”

Psalms 74:14 “Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.”

Psalms 104:26 “There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.”

Isaiah 27:1 “In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.”

The supposed mystery of the disappearance of the dinosaurs is no mystery to those who believe the Bible. Dinosaurs were created on the fifth day of Creation (Gen. 1:21) God created “great whales (sea monsters) and every living creature that moveth. He then created Adam and Eve on the sixth day. So clearly the Bible says that man lived with the dinosaurs.

Most of them were destroyed in the Great Flood of Noah’s day. The reason that we find fossilized dinosaur bones in sedimentary rock is that the sediment was deposited by the Flood which rapidly buried many animals in the earth. Noah must have had baby dinosaurs on the ark with him because Job knew about dinosaurs and lived after the Flood. They escaped the Flood by being in the Ark, but because the Flood changed the whole climate and face of the earth they did not prosper as well after the Flood because the drastic change in the climatic of earth over and eventually died out. There are reports of men seeing dinosaurs after 800 AD! The same forces that killed the dinosaurs even today is continuing as species of animals because of climate change are still becoming extinct.

There are also frequent references to “dragons” in the early history of man. These dragons certainly look like dinosaurs and acted like them. There are even a few cave paintings which show dinosaur type animals drawn by cave men.

Nebuchadnezzar had a dragon named Sirrush carved in the Ishtar Gate in Babylon. In China, Japan dragons are revered and considered good luck. Ancient stories said that dragons laid eggs…and so do dinosaurs! Is it not interesting that these ancient people would state that dragons laid eggs. It has only be in the last century that fossilized dinosaur eggs have been discovered! There is the story of St. George who slayed a dragon and he lived between the years AD 250 and 300. The story says the people of the area fed the dragon two sheep a day to keep it from eating them. In the Congo in Africa when natives were shown pictures of a dinosaur they said they had seen them in the remote areas of the jungle and had a name for them.

Yes, dinosaurs once roamed the earth with men. Evolution teaches the earth is millions of years old and the dinosaurs did not live with man. This is totally false as it contradicts true science and the Bible.

The sad thing about today is that our schools are teaching evolution as a scientific fact when there is absolutely no evidence of evolution in the fossil record or anywhere else. True empirical science does not support evolution and today. Darwinism is being seriously questioned by many in the scientific community who are honest enough to admit it. However, there are those scientists who deny the existence of God and to them their religion is evolution. To deny the Creator and His creation they must conclude that the world happened totally by chance and therefore if there is no Creator God then they not responsible to Him. How sad to willingly blind one’s self to the truth.
