omg… ‘romantic’ can be in his shirt sharing a piece of toast… romance is not the food, it’s the way it’s eaten, it’s the way you two feel comfortable with each other… its the way you make eye contact, talk without words… body language accounts for soo much, and as long as you are both relaxed, and you like what your eating, its way more important… formal and conformed does not make for romantic… relaxed and spontaneous is the key!

I would say most men love steak…and some side dish…like roasted potatoes…or sauteed mushrooms with caramelized onions…can also make some other side dish like mixed vegi’s in a garlic sauce…or my personal fav broccoli in garlic sauce…

* First wash & season the steak with your fav seasoning…my is a marinade with Worcestershire sauce and a bit of Montreal Steak Seasoning…a hint of salt & brush on some olive oil. cover or as I do seal in a big zip lock to keep the flavors in.

* Next I work on the potatoes bcz it takes longer to cook…so I cut up some potatoes into pieces…and add some long cut onions…then sprinkle my fav seasoning which is a combo Mideastern spice and add some salt…sprinkle just a bit of olive oil so it doesnt get stuck but gets nice & crisp on top & roast in the oven til they are a nice golden yellow yet with a crisp on top. (you need it too be a bit crispy for the sauce.) Now I set it aside to cool a bit.

{Back to the steak…when purchasing the steak…you want to get the one you like…I personally love the NY strip because it has less fat in it…(but has to be butterfly cut for me) some like the t-bone, Some rather the flank…I think it is great too (but needs to be cut into a butterfly cut as well)} Now what I do is I take the steak & Pop that in oven for 5 mins on each side for those that like it med rare…10 mins on each side for those that like it well done. then set it aside.

* Now I take a big skillet & add some of your favorite dinner wine, not a dry red one but a semi dry red one of your choice some even prefer a sweet thicker wine to use as a sauce…fill the base of the skillet half full…heat it up & when you see it begin to warm up add your potatoes & steak just stir the potatoes for a min or 2 to get the essence of the wine but not completely worked into it…and place on your plates…make sure you just let those steaks saute in the wine for 2 mins on each side to get that yummy flavor… once that is all nice & thick…you can add it over the steak & potatoes as a sauce…

*

for the mixed vegis just boil the vegi’s in salted water for 2 mins after it starts to boil…drain the water & place in a pan…add 1-2 garlic cloves minced and a little smart balance for that buttery taste minus all that cholesterol or sat fat…add a pinch of salt only if nec…mix well & serve as a side dish…

* For the sauteed mushrooms & caramelized onions, first you need an onion chopped length wise…then add a bit of olive oil to a skillet. now saute the onions til they are nice & caramelized & set aside… Now take a box of fresh mushrooms, wipe the tops & stems with a clean wet wash cloth and then cut the stem head off not all of it just the rough part. Now slice in length wise so u have part stem part head. Now make sure you dont slice too thin or too thick…and add some salt sprinkle some mushroom powder & 1 minced clove of garlic over it and then once they are almost done add the onion back to the skillet & mix all together.
Bon Appetite…Hope you enjoyed this & hope you have enough to choose from! Please let us know how it all came out no matter what you decide.

* If you rather do a poultry based dish let me know via funmail & I will send you a diff recipe.

Good luck!

Answer #16

personally, i’ve made many meals for my boyfriend wether they were chili dogs or lasagna. i personally love making stuffed boneless skinless chicken breast in cream of chicken soup-sauce with broccoli and cheese. i know it probably sounds very odd, but it’s something i’ve eaten growing up and i abosolutly love it. spagghetti is also very good, and lasagna. really, any pasta screams romance.

Answer #17

Answer #18
