What colour oil paint should I get

Hello I’m just starting out with oil paint and I want to try the water mixable collection however I don’t know which colours to buy as there are so many I wondered if you could give me some help with the 5 basics I could get including a white, a black, a yellow, a red and a blue. Thank you for any help you can give me.

The left hand side of the page that your link goes to includes:

Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour Colour Chart Sets ☝… so why don’t you just go for one of the six colour “beginner” or “starter” sets.

They include the five that you mentioned and very often a brownish colour,

( e.g. a “sienna” or an “umber”),

that is likely to mix nicely with the white, yellow, and tiny bit of red, to give reasonably good fleshy skin-tones that can be easily altered through a range of highlights and shades without producing ludicrous hues reminiscent of circus clown makeup.

The link I post below goes straight to the Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour “Sets” page on the Winsor & Newton site that you linked to.
