Is it good to color hair and highlight it on the same day?

Now, what do you mean by highlight? If you are talking about bleaching, then, yes, it’s okay to put a dye on after. If you could, it would be better to wait a few days, because the dye will do better if the hair hasn’t just been washed.

I am a licensed cosmetologist and it is okay to color your hair after you bleach it. In fact, that is what you’re supposed to do. Sometimes the dye is called is a ‘toner’ because it tones down the yellowish color to the color you want to have. I’m curious as to why you want to use brown though. But I have to say to ‘Never color it, then Highlight’

People use the words ‘Highlighting’ and ‘coloring’ loosely. Please do research before doing anything to alter your hair. I would never ask a question like yours on a site like this (as much as I like this site) because most people are not professionals here.
