Will Cutting My Hair Shorter Screw Up My Color Blocked Highlights?

I have long “scene girl” layered hair that I tease and I had black color blocked into my hair. (Color blocking hair dying technique is when you dye panels of your hair a color other than the majority of your hair so you can sometimes hide the dyed hair) Will cutting my hair shorter mess up the color blocking? By the way, the dye is dyed throughout the layers.

In a sense, yes, because you’re cutting some of it off…but it really depends on what you consider “screwed up”
