I just got braces today

lol thanks I don’t really use my front teeth I bite from the side…little strange, but it’s how I eat I tear everything and take bites with the sides lol so not using my front teeth arent really a problem for me except in band. then my mouth is going to start killing me

how do they tighten your braces? do they like rewire it or what?

when you get them on they do not hurt when they tighten them it hurts well at least for me since I had a gap they had to put extra force on two front teeth and it closed it in one day but the next day my gums were all swollen and red ps brush really good and don’t use whitening toothpaste it will discolor your teeth

azlrigh!Z you will love it at the end painful but worth it!! so let me tell you I have my braces onfor bout 3 months and they dont hurt thou they did hurt in the beggini a lot but I took tylenol and it took the pain aweay make sure to put on the wax at night before you got to sleep what I do is that I rub on my hand till really soft and then put it on nasty yes! worth it? of course you wont wake you wit cut lips or mouth it will the save the pain you really do not need!!!:) and eat in the first couple of months soft food and try not to bite wiht your front teeth those hurt the most but nothing to be scared off tho and everytime you got ot thighetn them it will hurt for a day or oo but you will be back again wit no paon what so ever onyl one month and your teeth wont reallt hurt so much be ready for tomoorrow they will hurt thats when you know they are startin well to make my advice shorter just put on the wax tale tylenol and dont eat hard food ( it might also bend your wires ehhh not I nice feeling lololo) hope it helped fun mail me if any ?s!!!

chew SUGAR FREE gum. it gets the lactic acids out of your mouth so that the soreness will go away after you get your braces tightened.

don’t even try to eat after you get your braces tightened. get a blender, and straws! (milkshakes, smoothies…applesauce…mashed potatoes…that sort of thing).

brush REALLY WELL and us MOUTH WASH! or you’ll be stanky. :(
