Do you belive whatever somone tells you, or do you need proof to believe anything?

Like if someone you were dating told you they worked at a certain place, do you need proof that they work there, or would you automatically believe it?

Answer #1

Hmm, idk.. I don’t really believe everyone too easily.. So I’d probably be like oh and then later on check it out. Meaning go and see if the person was there or not. Lol.

Answer #2

But not with just where they worked, I mean with anything in like, that was just an example. lol, you would always need to double check with every thing someone said?

Answer #3

Lol not everything.. Just some things. :p know what I mean? Lol. But yeah, it also depends on the person who’s telling me something. If its my friends or close friends I’d probably believe them but if it’s someone I know very little or someone whom I don’t really talk to, I probably wouldn’t really believe them right away..

Answer #4

If you’re smart you’ll check it out before you believe….especially from someone you’re really not familiar with their Character or their motive behind it…..

Answer #5

I would double check if I don’t know the person that well, or they seem to have little experience/knowledge. I usually trust my friends and family in stuff like that. But I don’t believe things like UFO’s and such without actually seeing them with my eyes.

Answer #6

If its something that isn’t likely possible, I need proof. Ill ask for proof, almost all the time anyway. I just don’t like liars, what’s the point of lying

Answer #7

Take everything with a grain of salt and remember that there are two truths to every story.

If someone tells me something, I’m not going to downright demand proof of it, unless it’s something I need proof of (such as issues here on FA).

If I don’t think their story is believable, I’ll just shift it to the whatever section of my brain and let it go. Life’s too short to waste time thinking about other people’s need for deception.

Answer #8

depends who is talking to me

Answer #9

someone i am dating yes, if they are not trust worthy i would not be dating them

Answer #10

It depends on how well I know the person and their reputation.
