Does believing in something make it real to the person?

if this is true then i want to think that when i die, im going to dream what i want to dream and make myself fly and have powers

Our beliefs is what creates our reality. It’s one thing to say you believe something and another to feel the afirmation within.

Well pereception is reality, so yes to a certain point. That can be your reality until you die and you gain a new sense of perception which could vhange your reality…or there is no longer perception in which case there is no reality. But like the rest of us, you’ll just have to wait and see…until then I say believe whatever you want because there’s no one on here that can give you a good reason not too!
