So how do I get into a band?

So how do I get into a band? I don’t know how to play any instrument, I just want to sing. I heard I could just ask on myspace…but how would I do that with actual results? Is there a way I can see people looking for singers in my area?

I agree with dulllikeglitter.

But if you don’t like that you can always go check around local venues and rehaesal studios, or record labels… they always have postings up, or you just run into a band looking for someone… =]

Myspace has a classifieds section where people looking for band members and lead singers in your area post ads. That is probably where you want to look but make sure you are always careful and bring a friend if you are going to be meeting someone for the first time.
