Bad Insomnia - Help!

Hi. So ya, I am a 14 year old boy, and every night I find it hard to go to sleep. I resort to doing stuff like reading, listening to music, youtubing and gaming and (kinda sad) listening to the radio… In the end I sleep at about 1am, and have to get up at 6am on school mornings. I think this affects my performance at school or so on. So thanx for reading, anyone got any advice? xx PS Wrong Category I know…(again!) sorry >_<

I have the same problem since I was 11, and I’m nearly 16 now. I usually open my window really wide so I can feel the breeze all over and it really calms me. I also put lavender smelling things under my pillow, as the smell helps people get to sleep. also, you might now be able to get to sleep because you have loads of things running through your head. maybe get some paper and a pen and keep them next to your bed, then write them down so you know you wont forget about them, and maybe get some sleep. good luck and hope this helps!
