Avoid going to church

Ok my mom keeps bugging me about going to church tomorrow,I don’t even want to go because well I don’t like it as much as I use t,how do I avoid it.

Answer #1

I think you should go. it’s a positive place, and if you don’t want to go, then more likely there’s something bothering you. I feel like not going some days, but once I get there, and go through the whole service, I’m glad I went. you’ll feel better afterward.

Answer #2

Just go. Do it with your mom. Make her happy. You know, your mom won’t be here forever. When she’s gone, you’ll wish you went with her.

Answer #3

Keep in mind that you dont have to avoid going to church. Not all churches fit everyones lifestyle. Keep in mind that a church has a theme that conforms to providing scripture for its target audiance. Some churches are designed with teenagers and young adults in mind. Tell your mother that you would like to try a church that teaches values that apply to your life.

Answer #4

Tell her that she shouldn’t push her beliefs on you. Tell her that if “christ” is missing, you’ll find him a different way. Also, you could say you relate to your religion in a different way than attending a building with simple minded people. I’ve got many excuses, although I’m an athiest. Its always possible to get out of something.

Answer #5
