what is an ASYLUM?

An asylum is where some very mentally ill people go to, some don’t come back out, some do. Not sure about the song.

the some is about being caged or someone being caged by people and not being able to express them self. its about people dictating the way we live our life and not let us live it for ourselves.

There’s several definitions. A mental asylum is sort of like a long term hospital where people who needed mental or physical care were held. Asylum is also a place of safety, like how churches used to give sanctuary, or how today countries give refuge to certain individuals based on political issues.
