Hi,

To disable your firewall in the AOL Safety and Security Center software:

Access the AOL Firewall software. If the AOL Firewall software has not been disabled, on the right side of the AOL Safety and Security Center window, you will see a message indicating that your firewall is on.
Click the Turn Off link. A message window will be displayed, alerting you that your firewall has been disabled.
Click the OK button.

Note: To turn your firewall back on, click the Turn On link, then click the OK button.
