Antisocial Personality Disorder

I found out that I had antisocial personality disorder, most of the things about me are the same as the symtoms Its said that there is a very high chance for suicide ! So what should I do to change this besides of doing the oppisite of the symtoms?

Answer #1

a. stop diagnosing yourself, of all the disorders in the world, people with antisocial personality disorder are the least likely to be aware of their disorder (maybe schizoid, but apart from them), I highly doubt you have antisocial personality disorder

b. even if you do have it, whatever you read, there may be a high chance, relative to other disorders, that doesnt mean there’s really a practical high chance (I mean in disorders, a 1 in 10 is a high chance, realistically that’s not very high), or that it has anything to do with you. It’s not telling you what is going to happen, those warning signs are for clinicians to look out for. So if you’re not depressed or suicidal, it has nothing to do with you. If you are suicidal, then you should talk to someone. You may want to talk to someone anyways to help you with the other parts of the personality features that you identify with.

Answer #2

Don’t have suicidal thoughts, if you do, reach for help.
