Am I ready to Change My Earrings?

I got my ears pierced at Claire’s 6 weeks ago exactly. They have behaved quite well, always rotated without restriction, and never got infected. They didn’t hurt much when I first got them pierced, just a tiny tiny bit. I now want to change them, can I or should I wait a little bit longer? If so, how long? Also, where should I get the earrings, I hear the claires one’s are cheap, are they?

6-8 weeks is recommended time for earrings. You’re at the minimum right now but if you haven’t seen any signs of infection or pain or crusting, you should be able to change them.

You can buy earrings almost anywhere. You should make sure to watch your ears though as some people have allergies to certain metals; surgical steel is usually a safe bet.

I was very careful about mine. they bled three times, but I kept the same ones in for 9 weeks, cleaned them six times a day, and never let them get infected, thats just me, but dont go over night without wearing earrings for like the first year because your holes will close.

Answer #3

you should be good to change them I would think
