What is an appropriate age to leave a child/ren home alone?

Probably children 10+ years old.. Depending on their maturity.

My first time was at 7 and it was ok. The main thing to understand does your kid ready to stay alone and understand what is he doing.

12-13, time alone gradually increasing as age increases.

anywhere between 10 and 12 depending on the child’s maturity, the area you live in, etc. but even for older children you should always have a neighbor nearby to keep an eye on things

Maybe when the child is ready? Everyone has their own time of maturing and well, this is the second time I’m home alone. Yesterday was the first time xD but really, u could always ask ur neighbor to keep watch or something. In my opinion, 1O above (depending on how the child is) can stay home alone.

11. Around 6th grade~

I think it depends on maturity. My mom has been leaving me home alone since I was around 7, she even used to leave me alone with my two baby sisters at that age & everything was fine. But my sisters are now 11, & they can’t be trusted home alone at all.

11-12. All depending on how big of a city the family lives in or if the house is on a street with friendly neighbors.
