I would suggest lots of exercise, watch what you eat as the dude mentioned and more than anything do sit ups to strengthen your back and stomach. Having an exercise ball helps.

Watch your diet, exercise, and play with the new baby a lot. My wife lost ~40 pounds after the birth of our eldest, though it took around six months to get there.

Be patient, consistant, and don’t expect overnight results, but it will happen if you stick wth diet & exercise. A combination of aerobic & strength training will provide the most benefits.
