How do I bring my aerial to the ground?

I have my aerial off of a spring board and on the tramp but how do I bring it to the ground???

Hi,

Twist your body rapidly. This will help you keep momentum as you approach the opposite direction in which you started.

Land with your knees slightly bent. This will help absorb the shock of landing.

Try this with a running start when first learning. This will give you the necessary momentum before you learn how to channel it and perform the move when you’re skateboarding or surfing. Practice on grass or another softer surface.

Many gymnasts keep their arms out when first learning, but you should try to run into for more power to bring your body around. When you run into and bend the knee that you kick off into the aerial, try putting down pressure onto the ball of your foot, and then kick into it. Place your arms parallel to each other by your chest.
