Can I clean my tongue piercing with normal salt?
Hi I pierced my tongue 3 days ago but I have been cleaning it with normal salt. Can I use normal salt to clean it aswell if I dont have sea salt? Because its the third day and its got a bit of a yellow color around it now.
sea salt is better but if you dont have any use normal saalt but also gently brush were the yello is with your toothbrush with warm water good luck. x
no you cant it has to be sea salt with water if you use normal salt it slows down the healing process look up tongue peircing guide its written by a doctor it tells you everything !! it really helps

I pierced my tongue about 10 years ago and I only rinced my mouth with Listerine mouthwash never had a problem.
I also had my tongue pierced about 10yrs ago and I put listerine in a bottle and for the first 2-3 days I would rince my mouth with it every 2-3 hrs and after I ate and I never had a problem.
