A poem I wrote the other day, is it good?

Poem Title: I Simply Shudder.

I shudder at the thought of your voice.

The way you talk so calm,

even when your feeling at your worst.

I love how you reassure me everything will be okay,

and hold me

while I weep silently,

in your gentle grasped hug.

Oh, how I long for your gentle touch,

your sweet love,

and your careing mind.

And,

why, after all these years

trying to love you, I can never have the chance to call you mine.

I shudder at the thought

of you walking towards me,

with that simple smile,

and those beautiful eyes

staring down at me.

Oh, how I long to stand

on the tip of my toes, leaning towards you,

while you slightly bend your head,

and then there’s that feeling.

A feeling that makes me want to melt.

And,

why, after all these years

trying to love you,

I can never have then chance to call you mine.

Now,

tell me boy,

is it because the way I look?

I shudder at that thought,

and if it’s true,

you don’t have to tell anyone about me and you.

I promise you won’t regret it.

And,

Oh, how I long to stand on the mountain top

with the breeze blowing in our faces,

and swaying the tall grass at our feet

back and forth.

With your hand in mine.

Boy,

at that thought,

I simply shudder.
