What is the difference between the 45 acp and the 45 auto + p?

the +P is a round built and packed to fire at a hire pressure than standard. the +P can be fired in most relatively new guns but you should never use the +P unless you know for sure your gun can take this higher pressure round.

the +P is higher pressure than standard ACP but lower pressure than Super. There is a Rowland varient to the .45 that is higher pressure yet, but this round will not fit into a standard .45 gun
