when do you think it is appropriate for a 15 year old girl to get her cartilage pierced?

my mother thinks i shouldn’t get my cartilage pierced till i am 18 but i think i should in my opion i looks fine not trashy. i told her i want it done for me no one else i am a good kid i don’t curs, do drugs, smoke, drink, or have sex. i am a well rounded kid i make good decisions and i make good grades i am a very committed athlete i work hard and have a good worth ethic. i don’t think me asking to get this is to unreasonable. she said i bet you also think you should get your license today also. i told her that i shouldn’t because i knew i wasn’t ready yet. i hardly ever get in trouble maybe 1 or 2 a year. 87% of the time i do what she asks of me. i know in the end it is her decision but there was a book i wanted to read and she said no i wasn’t old enough but i convinced her by showing her websites that said 15 year olds should are mature enough to read the book. and a lady in my church said she took 2 of her nieces to get their cartilages peirced at 12 and 13. this is a lady who she think has great judgement. what do you guys think about me getting this done would you let me of wouldn’t you?

I personally have no problem with cartilidge piericngs at the age - but it doesnt matter. Its your mothers house and her rules. It doesnt matter what other peoples opinions are….we are not your mother.

well i think that cartilage piercings dont matter what age you are..i had mine done when i was 11 but yea it really only matters what your mom says really
