Will wearing 3D glasses damage my eyes if I'm not watching anything that's 3D?

No there just different coloured lenses you’ll be fine, just don’t stare at the sun with them on

There are a few reports that say excessive 3d viewing can have bad side effects….Sega, for example, was researching the technology but due to it’s findings scrapped the program (and this is way before hollywood went crazy over it).

So if I were you, I wouldn’t use the glasses OR watch too much of that kind of content to be safe.

I just mean for like parties I think they look cool, its the actual framed ones.

If I put them on at any time I get nauseous and a slight headache. It puts strain on your eyes, especially if you aren’t watching 3D, so yes it can damage your eyes.

I would think so because whenever I wear them for more than an hour, my head starts to hurt…

Lol i still wanna use them for when I go see movies in 3D. I guess I’ll buy another pair.
