Who We Are

Welcome to The Lincoln Event Center! We are Justin and Katie Steele, and we are thrilled to offer you a venue that blends luxury and sophistication with a rich historical background. Originally built in the 1860s as The Blackman School, our space has been carefully preserved and expanded over the years. This one-room schoolhouse, later extended into a two-room schoolhouse in 1938, now stands as a testament to the past while offering modern amenities for today’s events. We are excited to share this unique and intimate space with you and the community.

What We Do

At The Lincoln Event Center, we specialize in creating unforgettable experiences for a variety of events. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a corporate gathering, or a private party, our venue serves as the perfect backdrop. Our space features:

  • Vintage Elegance: The original structure boasts 14-foot tall ceilings and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The vintage charm of the building adds a unique touch to any event.
  • Spacious Setting: Each half of the building can accommodate up to 50 seated guests, with a total building capacity of 100 people. The central hallway connects both halves and leads to two restrooms in the east wing.
  • Modern Amenities: Downstairs, you’ll find a prep and storage area complete with a refrigerator, sink, and tablespace, ensuring that your event runs smoothly.

Our goal is to make your event a success by providing a stunning venue and exceptional service.
