Well, guys are going through puberty still at that age, and he probably just wants his friends to think he’s cool, and he’s just doing it really weird. Before forgetting about him, I suggest talking to him about it when you’re alone, since you said he’s more caring then. If he blows you off or continues to do it, THEN forget about him.
