Usually, when you buy a game, it comes with one month free. That’s the only way to get it for “free” without it being a gift. Nothing is free, dude. If it is, it’s probably illegal.

Well you can do what my friend did and keep creating a new profile then making it an xbox live account. When you are done creating it you get 1 month free then it reverts to xbox live silver which by the way lets you playonline on the weekends for free. Other than that you either 1. Have to purchase a membership via a prepaid card or through xbox live. 2. Get it as a gift. Or 3. Get it with a game that you buy they don’t give out one months anymore they are now 48 hour trials. Mind you what I said above applys to the xbox 360 im not sure if its the same for the original xbox. Hope I helped!
