How do you write that you can work few hours per week without seeming uneager?

Last time I went into an interview, the employer gave me a form to fill out with all my information. Among it was the number of hours I expect or hope to work per week.

I know I won’t be able to handle too many hours, in all honesty, less is probably more for my next school term, but I just still want a source of income even if it’s small.

How do I write down that I want few hours without seeming like I do not want to work or want the job at all?

I would say just what you said here, you may be able to talk to the management when you hand in the application. Or there could be a comment section on the app or a place that says tell us something about you. I hope that makes since

If you’re applying for a part-time position ,they don’t expect you to work more than a few hours a week … it doesn’t make you look uneager (I’m sorry, that is SO not a word - don’t use it during your interview).

Many employers like to have a few employees who can only work limited hours - they use them to fill in time slots that fall short from the full-time employees.

My bad, wasn’t thinking when I wrote that. Thing is, where I work now, they give anywhere from 0-25 hours to part-timers. 5 hours per shift which means 5 shifts. Add in travel time, I can’t really work that much e

*I can’t really handle that much not with school. I just wanted to find a way to make sure they know even less is more.
