Would this be out of line?

I am transfering to a larger apartment in the same complex. Would it be out of line to ask if the maintenance could install cabinet safety locks before I move in if I buy the equiptment?

I suppose you are both right. Though I dislike rejection, I REALLY dislike installing those things. Thanks for the quick responses.

I don’t think it would be. (doesn’t hurt to ask right?) Just give them a tip and then they’ll always be happy to help you in the future.

You might have to offer to pay them for their time, but it will be worth it for the peace of mind that you will receive.

Never hurts to ask, and stop taking rejection so personally. A lot of times when we are rejected it isn’t because of US but rather because of outside circumstances.
