depends on the prize, do you mean big in size or do you mean “YOU WON A MILLION DOLLARS!” there would be different reactions to both.

Pay my debts - I have a loan from the bank for my house. I’d clear that first.
Buy a handful of things I always wanted to have but could not afford - a new computer, some new furniture, a harp, a 1970ies Unimog off-road truck that is remodeled into a caravan. Invest the rest to somewhere where I think it’s safe. With the current financial crisis, I’d either buy gold or real estate.
