Why some of the keys of my computer are not working properly?
… The alphabet key “l” is not working properly. I need to press it hard and then only it works… Please suggest some advice.
Ye theres probably bits of dirt lodged under the key .. It happend with my letter T a while ago. Just be careful when your popping the key of because mine wont go back on lol think I broke it !! Xo:)
Two step process:
- Make sure you’re not using a typewriter.
- Pry up the L key with a pen or a screwdriver and see if there is anything lodged under the plastic. Don’t worry, they’re designed to pop right off. My parrot is always dropping things into the keyboard, and at this point, I’d say about half the keys are permanently clogged with seeds.
You’re probably due for a new keyboard.
