why on sims2 castawaystories pc does my village screen go to black?
when playing sims2castawaystories on my laptop one screen (village) goes black with only the key in the bottom left showing I clicked the forward arrow and the screen went to smoke color , I did update my directx to try and fix it . I have a aspire(dell)5315 laptop and enough space an it is only 1 yr old so grapics card should be fine. any answers calling the phone number puts you on hold for over 20 min.
youll have intergrated graphics (onboard) which is shared with your system memory…
when a games crashes to a black screen it normally means the hardware cant keep up and just freezes… and/or its getting very hot.
run winupdate and see if theres a driver update for your graphics
