why my cd rom does not pick it up?

it pickes up the the sims bonboyag but it will not run the sims3. when you go to my computer it does not show up in the cd rom place

the sims 3 is dvd rom…

read the system requirments on the back of the box before buying ;)

I had that problem. you need a dvd rom drive. not cd.
