Why is no one concerned we are all inbred?

Ok so we are all inbred. So what concerns should it raise? What do you expect we do?

Since I don’t believe in it, I believe that we evolved therefore we’re not inbred and that’s why no one worries about it?

Because it isn’t true.

Personally, I don’t believe that we came from Adam and Eve, so there was no “inbred” period in my eyes. Maybe the unconcerned people simply aren’t Christian or Catholic? I belive that, oh, when the Earth was created, there was this primordial ooze. All of the creatures came out of there, and then we came from the evolution of apes. If you don’t agree, then that’s okay, but this is why I don’t believe that we’re inbred. P.S. There is an ant on my keyboard. o-o

We are not inbred because we evolved from a long chain of developing organisms.. that when they had a language, they wanted to believe that they could have life after death.. then then came up with gods, after that people came around and said there was only one..

so I ask you this.

You know, I just asked my mom that question last night. Who did Cain marry? Where did she come from?

That is all just a matter of what you believe. I think that in the case that Adam and Eve were the first two people humans on the planet that they didn’t exactly start out as humans the way we consider them today. The Greek Gods for example, were above humans and inbreeding didn’t effect them. I think that humans at first were much more like that. But they pretty much all died a couple millenia later (the Flood of Noah’s Arc). After that the human race was revived thru the throwing of rocks over their shoulders (if I remember correctly that is, I haven’t read it in a long time).

Anyway, to some up, I think that Adam and Eve were much closer more like Demi-Gods than humans, and then we eventually devolved to be the mortals that we are today. That is just one of my theories.

Supposedly Cain married one of Lilith and Adam’s children. Myth has it once Eve and Adam were expelled from Eden, Adam went back to his first wife and has sexual intercourse. She became impregnated and had 4 daughters. Adam left her and went back to Eve, etc etc. Do some research on myths about Lilith. It’s pretty interesting how the Church demonised a once all loving Goddess into a wicked “Queen of Succubus” who feast on children. Though even in biblical myth I can’t say I’ld blame her.

Okay I’m not religious or anything but I do have an answer. For starters, god created Adam and Eve. No where in the bible does it say that Adam and Eve have the same genetic makeup. God being the all knowing being he is probably knew about science long before we did and created Adam and Eve with a different genetic makeup. Thus, concluding that we aren’t inbred :)

uhm hysterical, I dont think the poster thinks that Adam and Eve genetically similar… I think they’re talking about Adam and Eves children getting married and having children of their own (thus products of incest).

hmm, I’m not sure why we should be concerned by this. I would wonder why incest is now strictly forbidden if God allowed it at the beginning of time and all…

That’s right. Ethnicities don’t actually exist. That’s the logical conclusion from the Bible, so it must be true in spite of our direct expericne to the contrary.
