Why is my tongue bleeding after a tootsie roll pop?

I just ate a tootsie roll pop and my tongue started bleeding a lot, I’m curious if anyone else has had this happen. I didn’t feel my tongue get cut but after I was done I noticed my tongue kinda hurt then I spit and it was pure blood. I’ve never had this happen before but I think it’s turned me away from ever eating a sucker again haha.

um, it’s pretty normal I guess. maybe it’s bleeding because it was sharp somewhere on the lolipop so it sliced your tongue. it’s just a minor cut, nothing serious. hope I helped (:

lol your tongue must be grinding and licking your tootsie roll pop too hard, take it easy on it. plus a tootsie roll pop is not smooth on the surface before you put it in your mouth. silly..
