I'm always nice to the,, polite, I wear the right clothes, I don't have a bad reputation, I'm in high school I don't drink or do drugs. There's basically no reason for them not to like me. I'm mostly having problems with the mom. My boyfriend and I were at the park on a sunday night his curfue is 10pm before school. We were just sitting around when his mom drove past the park furious and telling him to come home immediatly. Well basically she thinks that we spend to much time together so she grounded him from seeing me. This made me feel really bad considering the fact that I am nothing but nice and polite when I'm around them. What should I do to make his parents like me more? We've been dating for four months I love him very much and I'm very serious about him. We have a great relationship, we've never even gotten into an argument so she can't possibly think that I treat him bad...so whats going on? Should I back off?
I wouldnt worry about it. a lot of moms are that way towards their sons and daughters dating. Its just because its a step up from what they're used to. Its probably not that they dont like you, its probably just wierd seeing their "litle" boy with a girlfriend all the time. Ya know?
