Why do they ask if your pregnant before a xray?

& ya the radiation
the radiation from an xray can end up killing the baby a few weeks ago this happened too when a lady didnt know she was pregnant and had an xray because the doctor thought she was constipated, a few hours later she gave birth in the toliet and the baby was dead, becase of the radiation from the xray but quite a few people dont always know there pregnant so as well as asking them they should test them if there sexualy active
THEY ASK THAT BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE AN X-RAY AND YOUR PREGNANT IT COULD DAMAGE YOUR BABY THE BABY COULD HAVE PROBLEMS THATS WHY THEY ASK SO IF YOU ARE THEY CAN PUT SOMETHING TO PROTECT YOU BABY.
