Why cant short or overweight peeps be models?

they can though the disgusting model indusry usually one takes anorexic unhealthy looking people who usually underaweight and are freakishly tall there are quite a few plus size models today and quite a few modeling agencies who take plus sized models or/and shorter models

There are plus sized models, but they don’t usually have overweight models because it’s being a role model and you don’t want anyone to become overweight who looks up to them. But it is also the same case with the skinny models, that you don’t want anyone to become dangerously underweight like them and that is what is considered to be the ‘look’ tall and dangerously underweight. Sometimes there is short models, but usually they will be tall.

Catwalk models need to fit a certain criteria. They need to be able to fit into the sample clothes they are given or they don’t get work. Why do they make the clothes so small? I don’t know. I guess a really skinny girl allows the garment to ‘hang’ and not be altered by lumps and bumps. There are different models for different things, not all are the glamourous skinny type as it depends on exactly what you are modeeling.

theres not many short models because they try and find people around the same height and size so that many of them can wear the same size. honestly, it drives me crazy when people talk about fat people not being able to be models. THEY DONT DESERVE TO BE. because first of all the whole idea of modeling is for designers to advertise their clothes and show how they look, many of high fashion designers dont sell clothes sizes 10-16 so whats the point of fat people modeling them? cause no one like them will ever where the clothes. and another thing, models now can be fired if they have an eating disorder or are too underweight, and contrary to popular belief, many models are healthy people that are naturally skinny.
