Who was more famous The Beatles or Rolling Stones?

The whole “British Invation’ as it was called in the 1960’s was started by both The Beatles & The Rolling Stones. The Beatles came out first then The Beatles wrote the Rolling Stone first big selling song. The Beatles want to hold you’re hand while The Rolling Stone want to burn you’re town down. It’s like the Ying & The yang.

There totally different, I personally think the beatles though cause everyone I know knows who the beatles are and knows at least one song by them where as to the rolling stones not so much.
