Who needs help in math... ME! help me please!?

Lindsey and Courtney use their new boxes of stationary to write letters for valentines day rather than send cars. Linsey wrote three page letters and courtney wrote one page letters. Courtney used all the envelopes in her box and had 50 sheets of paper left over. Lindsey used all the paper left in her box and had 50 envelopes left over. if the two boxes were exactly the same. How many sheets of paper were there in the same box?? please help and I need an explantion for it too!! fulll explain!!!

it sounds like a brain teaser…theres 50 sheets of paper in each box since the boxes are the same and theres 50 envelopes too
