Who can tell me if what my teacher did is legal?
So I just got my tonsil out and the doc. said I had to be out o school for 2 weeks… so I was… But when I was gone My teacher announced my grade to my class mates and I was not there to stop it or have a say if I wanted him to OR not !
morally wrong? sigh. sometimes I think corporal punishment should be brought back.
Did he announce the other students grades as well or single you out? Was he asking someone to tell you your grade? No it’s not illegal to do something like that. Just tell the teacher that you’re not comfortable with your grades being announced to the whole class, don’t look to file a law suit.
The question you should really be asking is whether or not your school has any rules against teachers annoucing grades. The high school I went to had rules against that kind of stuff… teachers had to pass out papers with the grade down so no one could see it.
