Ask a friend to take care of your cat or take it to a pet hotel.Or ask a family member come and stay at your house for 2 months?I don’t know.

The best thing for your cat would be to leave her at home in her familiar surroundings and have a family member, friend or trusted neighbor take care of her. Boarding facilities are for the most part probably ok, but cats tend to get a little upset in strange places with loud noises and other animals. You’re kitty may get lonely or a little bored home alone, but at least she’d feel safe.

See if there are any Catteries in your area that board cats…She’ll have to be up to date on all her shots, tho…Sometimes Vets board animals, so check the Yellow Pages in the Vet section, and see who does boarding. Otherwise, you’re going to have to find a friend to care for her/him. One thing about a regular boarding facility…she won’t get out and get lost.
